10. In exchange for being allowed to participate in the “Bike Swap,” I agree as follows:
    • I am responsible for all personal property that I brought to the Pierce County Bike Swap. 
    • I will remove all property, including unsold items from the Pierce County Bike Swap by 2 PM. 
    • Pierce County is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property.
    • I am assuming (accepting) all risk of property loss or damage, personal injury, death, or disability that might result from my voluntary participation.
    • I and my successors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Pierce County and its agents harmless from any and all liability and any legal theories of recovery arising out of my participation.
    • I and my successors release and discharge Pierce County and its agents from any and all liability and any legal theories of recovery arising out of any loss, injury, or death related in any way to my participation – even if Pierce County caused the loss, injury, or death. 
12. Binding Agreement, Acceptance of Risk, Indemnification, and Liability Release*

I know that I am protecting Pierce County from any liability AND giving up my right to sue or make a claim against Pierce County for any kind of injury or loss.
